Getting Started with Nuva
Everything you need to know to start using Nuva in minutes.
What is Nuva?
Nuva is the first AI-powered medical platform in Kurdistan. It provides a professional pharmacist AI assistant, drug dosage calculators (general, pediatric, and neonatal), skincare advice, and lab result interpretation — all through natural conversation.
Nuva supports English, Kurdish Sorani, Kurdish Badini, Kurdish Latin, and Arabic. The AI responds in whichever language you select in the app, with automatic Kurdish dialect detection.
How to Sign In
Nuva uses Google Sign-In for secure, passwordless authentication. No separate password to remember.
Step 1
Download Nuva from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), or visit nuva.krd in your browser.
Step 2
Tap Continue with Google and select your Google account.
Step 3 — Set Up Your Profile
Enter your display name and select your profession from the list (e.g., Doctor, Pharmacist, Nurse, Medical Student, Non-medical, etc.).
Step 4
You're all set! You can now start using Nuva and all its AI agents.
We only use your Google account to sign you in securely. You can update your display name and profession at any time in Settings.
Basic Navigation
Nuva has a clean, simple interface. Here are the main areas:
Chat Screen
Your main conversation area. Type, use voice, or send images to interact with the AI.
Sidebar — Agent Groups
Access Medical Info and Calculation agent groups. Tap a group to pick a specialized agent.
Chat History
Your recent conversations appear in the sidebar. Up to 15 chats are stored.
Settings
Change language, theme color, light/dark mode, and manage your profile.
How AI Chat Works
Nuva uses an advanced medical reasoning model trained for pharmaceutical and clinical accuracy. Responses are streamed in real-time so you see them as they're generated. The AI fact-checks its statements and cites sources when possible.
Type, speak, or attach
Use text input, the microphone button for voice, or attach images and files.
AI processes with thinking
The AI reasons step-by-step internally, verifying facts and checking drug information before responding.
Real-time streaming response
Responses appear word-by-word as they're generated. Continue the conversation naturally.
